An award winning (RTS, Gold Cannes Lions, Broadcast Digital, BAFTA Academy Cymru) Creative Director and Live Director with a track record of leading and delivering large-scale global events and Sports Entertainment content for broadcast and digital.

As Creative Director at Welsh indie Boomerang, Dylan grew the Sports and Events department from a small Extreme Sport event specialist into a multi award winning, Pan-European leader in Sport-Entertainment events and original content.

THE CLARE BALDING SHOW
Dylan was the creative driving force behind The Clare Balding Show for BBC2 / BT Sport in an unprecedented shared rights agreement between the two broadcasters and led production from 2013 to 2017.

CHANNEL 4 PARALYMPICS
He has created and delivered several major projects for Channel 4’s Paralympic coverage including Anniversary Games 2016, IPC European Swimming and Athletics Championships 2016, IPC World Athletics Championships 2015 as well as the high-end short form content for Channel 4’s sponsorship partners including Allianz and BT.

GT ACADEMY
Dylan was instrumental in the rise and growth of the worlds largest Advertiser Funded Programme, the Gold Cannes Lions winning GT Academy, and led production and creative for this multi-platform brand for 7 years. Dylan’s AFP expertise has seen him produce high-end, big-budget AFP for the likes of Bacardi, Huawei, DHL, and Sony in multi-platform, multi-genre content.

RED BULL TV
Other complex production includes major live programming for Red Bull TV, including Red Bull Air Race, Europe’s largest BMX &Skateboard event Simple Session and the final of the Freeride World Ski & Snowboard Tour; Verbier Xtreme.

LIVE AWARD SHOWS
Dylan has also devised and delivered large-scale live award shows including the Facebook Football Awards and BT’s Action Woman of the Year Awards.

Gareth has worked in the Welsh TV industry for over 20 years. As Managing Director of Boomerang, Gareth grew the company to become one of the Nation’s leading indies with a wealth of long running hits including C4’s ‘Posh Pawn’, ‘The Clare Balding Show’ on the BBC and the ground-breaking global brand funded show ‘GT Academy’.

Gareth was part of the team responsible for floating the Cardiff based Boomerang + PLC business on AIM in 2007. He understands the challenges of managing and growing a nations independent and leading a strong creative team.

As Managing Director of Nimble Dragon, Gareth has, over the past year, established the company as a key voice in the Welsh creative scene, with solid links with local and network broadcasters and a strong business foundation.

Katy’s production management experience of 20 years spans many genres including Entertainment, Live, Factual and Drama. Prior to joining Nimble Katy was Production Executive for Blink Films and before that Boomerang, running many successful productions including Channel 4’s Posh Pawn and Extreme Cake Makers. Katy started her career at the BBC, working in various areas of programming and on long running series including DIY SOS: The Big Build and Doctor Who Confidential.

Rob started his career in the audit and accounting sector where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant before joining Channel 4 in 2001.

Rob was the Finance Manager for 4 Rights, Channel 4’s commercial business, and over ten years managed one of the largest independent Programme investment funds in the UK, investing in some of the Channel 4’s most iconic programmes and series including Shackleton; Shameless; Green Wing and The Joe Simpson films The Beckoning Silence and Touching The Void.

In 2011 he developed the unique funding model for the hugely successful Inbetweeners Movie which went on to be the UK’s most successful comedy film.

More recently, Rob has concentrated on Finance Director appointments in entrepreneurial / start-up companies within the creative industry. These have included numerous TV and Film production companies where he has set up and managed finance departments and has raised investment finance to support business growth.

Multi-talented Dylan Thomas is a Researcher and Editor at Nimble Productions specialising in linear and digital productions. Dylan has worked across many successful programmes and events including short form content production for the Welsh Rugby Union, Swalec Cup and Judgement Day and more recently, The Clare Balding Show, Red Bull: BC One and The Big Six Nations Kick Off for BBC One Wales.
